If you like to have a beer from time to time, keep your money out of the casino if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your purse, your money belt, and keep all money, credit cards and checkbooks at home. Grab whatever money you anticipate to use on alcohol, tipping and few dollars you expect to throw away and leave the rest behind.
Cynical? Not really. Realistic more like. You may well have a win after a boozy evening out with your buddies and be lucky enough to hook a long roll at a smokin craps table. Keep that story considering that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continually drink alcohol and bet. The two just do not mix.
Leaving your moolah back at the hotel is a little bit drastic, but defensive actions for drastic behavior is required. If you bet to win, then don’t drink alcohol and bet. If you are able to afford to be wasteful with your $$$$ nary a worry, then consume all the gratuitous booze your stomach are able to handle, but do not pack plastic credit and checkbooks to toss into the mix of going after losses after your inebriated head squanders every little thing!
Let me to take this 1 step further. do not consume alcohol and then jump on the internet to gamble in your best-liked casino either. I love to beverage from the coziness of my condominium, but considering that I’m linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit in close proximity, I can’t drink and gamble.
How come? Despite the fact that I do not drink to excess, when I drink alcohol, it is absolutely adequate to cloud my common sense. I gamble, so I don’t drink alcohol when gambling. If you are a drinker, don’t bet at the same time. Both make for a decimating, and crazy, drink.
